on may 15, 2008.. i went to possibly the BEST concert of my life. ERYAH BADU & THE ROOTS. it really just does not get any better. there is no way to describe the feeling of seeing a LEGEND doing her thanggg on stage and it just makes it that much better having my best friend by my side. this concert started out being just a present for aden and lets just say i never, in a million years, would have thought that i would enjoy it as much as i did. sure, aden and i were both a little blown that she didnt come out in her funky ass afro that we love or that she didnt play Tyrone.. but its Erykah Badu. she can do any damn thing she wants and she would still be THE SHIT. and want to hear the icing on the cake? ya girl booked WALE! ;)
let's not forget about may 10,2008..GLOW IN THE DARK TOUR! with the one and only, the man himself, mr. KANYE WEST. this man right here is possibly one of the BEST performers of our time. the entire two hours he was on that stage he OWNED it. someone please explain to me how kanye west has never been said to be one of the best rappers alive. [ralph lauren really WAS boring before he wore him] when someone has a legit answer for me, please let me know. i wasnt even supposed to be at this concert, but due to an unfortunate event.. i was there and i look at it as a sign. its funny the way things work out.

how can so much good shit happen in a matter of FIVE DAYS!? life has a funny way of working out.
