Free Kid Cudi tickets, VCU Commons Ballroom. FREE KID CUDI TICKETS NOVEMBER 20th. i think i read the poster about five times. okay..i lied. i read it exactly eleven times. i was so amazed by this gift to VCU that i even took the poster with me to my room. its proudly hanging in my room on my dresser. i made sure to make sure all my girls knew about the concert and escorted each one to get their tickets. the concert didn't start until 7pm..but best believe we were there at 6:30. not having first row? not an option. eventually made inside the ballroom. closest person to the stage? you already know. first group was Earth Tones. i can honestly say they were a pleasant surprise. all five of these up and coming artists had their own swagg and talent. the beatboxer.the guitarist. the three MCs. all with a different sound. their sound caught me off guard at first, im not going to lie. less than a minute later, i felt their music. it spoke to me. i'm a fan of different, new sounds. and these guys are just that. look out for them. they are doing big things. i'll post a picture as soon as i get one.

i kept looking behind me. maybe he will come up behind me, before he goes on stage. dj says "get ready for Kid Cudi." heart starts beating faster.and faster. and faster.and faster. the crowd goes wild. i look to my left and see "the cudder." so much engery. so much swagg. so much love for the music. i lost my breath for a second. just because i was so scised to see the kid. its not only about his beats. his swagg. his looks. or his stage presence. its about his words. his thoughts. his actions. many people dont take the time to really listen to what he is saying. they listen, but they dont hear. i get chills when i hear his words." u fiendin now ask around and i bet u’ll figure out how to zone and control ya future. finally a nigga getting deep with his words. refreshing. kid cudi gives me hope. he gives music in general hope. it isnt everyday you see a fairly new artist talking about real shit. everyone can relate to something he has said in his songs. and.i.love.that. everyone needs to sit down. turn the volume up loud. and let the music feed your soul. it deserves to eat up some of this shit. he will be the new face of hip-hop. just wait. with a swagg like that? how could he not?

not to be an obsessing fan..but everyone knows, at a concert, you never leave the place until the house lights come on. a wise woman taught me that. after the concert, me and the girls waited. and waited. and waited. sure enough, the cudder himself came out to mingle with some fans. talk about a real nigga huh? eventually i gather up enough confidence to go over to him. heart starts beating fast. then faster. and faster. i walk up to him and he is right.infront.of.me. scised much? you bet. i introduce myself and we take a picture. [i'll post it as soon as i get it]. tell him i have read his blog. and let him know he should read mine. i believed i would meet him, so i already had my blog name on a piece of paper to give him. he seemed interested. he said he would hit me up. [if youre reading this, i have mad respect for you and you just got a whole new fan base at VCU]. i walk away from him with a smile on my face. i damn near start going wild with my girls only a couple steps away from him. some have said Kid Cudi was "cocky and into himself." they dont know the real kid. they dont know the down to earth nigga he really is. give this man a chance. he will not disappoint you. he will be that "man on the moon" that you play "day and night" while you have "pillow talk" after getting that "maui wowie" hahaha. yeah i went there. he is shit. i kid you not.
